FANNIE MAE Project Management Associate (Hybrid) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will support calendar and scheduling management; planning, initiating, and managing projects; reporting and documentation needs; and coordinating events and meetings. Achievement in this role will incorporate strong time management skills; the ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities; an ability to engage, consult and execute assigned tasks.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Project Management Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Support calendar and scheduling management

  • Provide project management support across business unit

  • Help with event coordination

  • Facilitate tracking of reports and metrics

  • Participate in the development of goals, guidelines, action steps, and timelines for projects

  • Monitor and report on the work of a team

  • Report on the progress of a project

  • Consult with manager on the refinement of goals, guidelines, action steps, and timelines for projects as needed

Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict

  • Must be able to work with individuals having a different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively while working toward a common goal

  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data

  • Familiarity and exposure to managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion

  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions

  • Understand concept of framing ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process

  • Emerging skill in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

  • Relationship management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, and building relationship networks

  • Skilled using the following tools: calendar and scheduling tools, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Salesforce, SharePoint, JIRA
