Product Marketing Manager V Location: Redmond (onsite) Duration: 12 Months with possible extension Job Description: Summary: The main function of marketing manager is to run marketing activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans. Job Responsibilities: Achieves marketing operational objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. Meets marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; executing on event and GTM strategy. Improves product marketability and adoption by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product positioning; coordinating new product development. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Ability to keep information organized and confidential. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism. Any Key projects they are working on Evolve and maintain Aria’s online presence across social and owned channels Land and maintain messaging strategy for Project Aria’s pillars Event coordination for external conferences and internal research summits Coordinate on the creation and deployment of marketing assets Support community and user growth and retention across internal and external audiences Day to day Operations Typical day- will they be working with internal or external customers Stakeholders This role will interface with Internal team members (design, product, operations), external customers (academics and corporate partners), and external support teams (e.g., event coordinators; creative agencies) to ensure Project Aria is telling the right story to the right audience, ultimately driving the right KPIs. What selling facture would you provide What impact will this person have on the team This role will be responsible for defining and scaling Project Aria’s brand across external and internal audiences – amplifying impact across a wide set of audiences. In coordination with design, product, and operations, this role will also own growth for the existing program while guiding GTM for ambitious product launches designed to accelerate AR and AI research. Are you requiring a degree or specific certs for this role Bachelors required : Marketing/Communications/Policy could be targets. Master’s preferred : MBA / Communications / Marketing could be targets How many years of overall experience are you looking for 7+ years’ experience in product marketing or related field. 5+ years’ experience creating unique marketing plans to reach core stakeholders Top 3 non-negotiable skills that are transferrable on a resume ( job titles, etc.) Are you looking for someone with specific experience and/or programs Experience working on products used by research communities and academics. Experience with B2B marketing tactics including events and webinars. Especially important for events like conferences. Ability to operate independently; experience working with small teams or in lean/startup environments. Experience partnering closely with product teams to influence product strategy and roadmaps. Good to have skills Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence. Experience developing product messaging, particularly with Client or future-looking technologies. Strong background in copywriting, particularly in research case studies and/or white papers. Experience creating and executing unique marketing strategies and developing strong assets including videos, white papers and case studies. Combination of strategic marketing experience and hands-on tactical execution. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, iterative and independent environment. How will performance be measured Ability to execute against project timelines, working with design, product, and XFN counterparts to develop marketing campaigns and associated deliverables. Will this person be working with financials/ Money Yes, this person will work with our cross-functional team to commit on event funding, track budget, and scale through agencies/3rd party vendors.
