Ecolab Inc Program Manager in St. Paul, Minnesota

The Program Manager plays a vital role in leading and managing the execution of programs from ideation to completion, ensuring they deliver strategic benefits while staying within budget and timeline constraints. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of project management methodologies. As Program Manager on the Digital Solutions team, you will partner with business and technical teams to drive the delivery of innovative digital solutions for our Institutional & Specialty businesses. What You Will Do: Program Leadership and Execution: Lead the execution of assigned programs from ideation, planning, and development to launch and ongoing management. Work with delivery and product teams to identify key milestones. Regularly collaborate with the delivery team leads and coordinate cross-project activities. Work across teams to identify, track, and manage key dependencies. Maintain and report status on a consolidated RAID (risks, actions, issues, and decisions) log. Monitor and provide visibility on status of development backlog, release progress and other key program/health metrics. Drive resolution and communication on key high impact cross team issues/risks. Act as escalation point and/or drive resolution on higher impact issues/roadblocks. Assist with resource planning and budgeting activities. Ensure programs align with strategic objectives and resource availability. Motivate and guide program teams to achieve program goals. Manage program risks and issues proactively. Track progress, identify and address roadblocks, and make necessary adjustments. Executive and Program Reviews: Prepare for and lead executive reviews, presenting program performance, financial data, and key decisions. Conduct regular program and project reviews, assessing progress, addressing challenges, and making budget and staffing adjustments. Integrate ideation discussions into program reviews, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and resource availability. Ensure clear agendas, templates, and reporting formats for all reviews. Develop and track actionable outcomes with assigned owners and deadlines. Communicate review outcomes transparently to stakeholders for ownership and engagement. Ideation and Benefits Realization: Establish a structured approach for generating, evaluating, and prioritizing new program ideas based on strategic alignment, market potential, and feasibility. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and report program benefits. Regularly measure and demonstrate the value of programs to stakeholders. Process, Technology & Tools: Administration of relevant internal tools and platforms (e.g., ADO, Miro, Figma): Manage user access and licenses. Collaborate with the PMO team to standardize project and program methodologies, templates, and tools. Stay updated on emerging project management technologies and evaluate potential adoption for PMO improvement. Advocate for continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes and adapting to changing needs. Minimum Qualifications: 10 years of significant work experience 5 years of project management experience in a fast-paced IT/Digital environment 3 years of experience with Agile software delivery methodologies Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, project management, business administration or equivalent No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
