Locations: Remote - South East Regions

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager oversees the activities of automotive district managers within the region. This position also builds business contacts and relationships within the automotive dealer and all automotive partner communities within the region. Handles all aspects of managing information and training related to SiriusXM and its partners within the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the products and services offered by SiriusXM and assigned regional automotive dealerships and automotive partner regional personnel to increase awareness and influence support within the brand for both new and used vehicle sales.

  • Lead regional automotive dealer support team.

  • Lead and coordinate automotive special projects within assigned region as set forth by the OEM HQ team.

  • Assist SiriusXM in launching initiatives and new programs as needed.within the automotive and automotive remarketing divisions.

  • Represent SiriusXM at national, regional and local training and launch events.

  • Gather dealerships-level SiriusXM knowledge and devise creative projects that will lead to increased SiriusXM activations within each partner brand new and used car sales as well as independent automotive dealership car sales.

  • Oversee daily job responsibilities for team of automotive DM's within assigned region.

  • Engage dealers and make SiriusXM a part of their ongoing business from the sales floor to the service department via coordination & participation in national, regional and district promotions.

  • Provide ongoing customer support and serve as the SiriusXM expert within their region.

  • Establish relationships/partnerships with all automotive regional and district staff members located within their region.

  • Represent region at OEM-related automotive vendor shows and events within their region and as needed throughout the nation.

  • Track dealer visits for all staff within region and denote weekly via hosted software solution and internal spreadsheets.

  • Submit a detailed weekly report for all automotive activities within region to Director, National Field Operations, automotive senior management and select members of the automotive HQ team.

  • Assist the customer care teams in rectifying customer and subscriber issues as needed.

  • Assist the automotive and automotive remarketing teams in developing new and updated dealer and customer facing material, to include new, CPO and NON CPO programs as well as Independent dealerships as needed.

  • Conduct visits to automotive DM districts as well as cities without representation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position will directly oversee a team of contract district managers within the respective region.

  • Oversee other projects and personnel as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing automotive partner and dealer programs.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing automotive partner and dealer support needs relationships.

  • At least 3 years of experience managing automotive dealer sales volume and Sirius XM conversion reporting.

  • Minimum of 3 years managing a regional automotive dealer support team.

  • Firm understanding of the automotive dealership marketplace.

  • Prior experience working in a sales environment with a strong customer service emphasis focusing on escalated issues.

  • Must have strong knowledge and familiarity of the assigned region.

  • Good driving record.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle CX for tracking automotive dealer and team activity
