Robert Half HR Coordinator in Scripps Ranch, California

Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive work culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees

  • Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations

  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries

  • Provide administrative support for HR programs and initiatives, such as performance evaluations, training, and employee engagement activities

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and escalate issues to HR management as needed

  • Assist with HR compliance efforts, including maintaining employee files, monitoring compliance training completion, and assisting with audits

  • Support other HR projects and initiatives as assigned

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Previous experience in HR administration or coordination role is a plus

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
