Description We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in San Jose, California. This role is focused on overseeing the daily bookkeeping procedures, leading the accounting team for a full cycle month-end close, and reviewing monthly GL reconciliation on selected B/S and P& L accounts. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring inventory related transactions, managing and developing various analytical financial reports, and delivering weekly and periodical sales reports for management reviews.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bookkeeping procedure and ensure accuracy of operational finance data

• Lead the Accounting team for full cycle month-end close

• Review and perform monthly GL reconciliation on selected B/S and P& L accounts

• Monitor inventory related transactions and maintain accurate job-costing

• Manage and develop various analytical financial reports including inter-company transactions

• Deliver weekly and periodical sales reports for management review

• Utilize Quickbooks or equivalent Accounting software for data analysis

• Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close

• Monitor and report on annual inventory and manufacturing job costs Requirements • Possess proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger maintenance and management

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries accurately

• Proficient in Month End Close processes and procedures

• Experienced in using QuickBooks accounting software

• Capable of conducting Annual Inventory in a manufacturing setting

• Understanding of Job Cost and its application in a manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated experience in the Manufacturing sector is preferred
