About The Role

The Discovery Experiences team works on consumer facing surfaces such as feed and search on Uber Eats to help our users discover the right merchants and items in their shopping journey.

Basic Qualifications

• Design system architecture, own key components to deliver centralized logging solution for Uber.

• Join on call rotation, driving continuous improvements on system availability, scalability, performance and efficiency.

• Provide technical leadership, influence fellow engineers and role model solid engineering practices.

• Collaborate with other engineering teams, design, and product managers to develop and enhance new product features

• Experience running A/B tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on mobile or web

• Experience in a product/consumer facing role

• Experience at both a large tech company and building 0 to 1 products

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$185,000 per year - USD$205,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
