Summary:

Plans and oversees all internal and external communications and manages employee recognition and engagement programs. Coordinates communications whether verbal, written or digital, between Nash UNC Health Care and its internal and external stakeholders as delegated by the Executive Director of Security.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the administrative management of the department under the general direction of, and as delegated by, the Director.

• Participates in developing and implementing a strategic plan for promoting a positive image of Nash among employees and thepublic, in collaboration with the Executive Director of Communications & Strategy.

• Acquires age-specific knowledge necessary to provideappropriate level of service and communications.

• Performs miscellaneous duties, as needed, to support operations and the provision of services.

Other Information:

• Bachelors Degree in Communication or English, Journalism, Public Relations or related field

• Master's Degree preferred

• 3 years of Communication experience in leadership role
