Required Skills

10+ years of experience as a MS SQL Server Developer or similar role with strong experience in

Database design and development.

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject

5-7 years of experience with SQL Server PowerBI

Experience with creating/maintaining interfaces using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL Tool or another ETL product.

Microsoft SQL Server, including installation and configuration.

SSIS, including installation and configuration.

Report development using SSRS, PowerBI, or Tableau

Database Migrations and implementations

Database migration from OnPrem to Azure Cloud (Nice to have)

C# .NET

Design, development, and testing of RESTful web APIs.

Front-end development using Angular (Blazor UI preferred)

Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) DevOps

Job scheduling/orchestration software (JAMS preferred)

Active Directory, including running applications under AD/Kerberos

Experience working with large sets of data and resolving data-oriented issues.

Extensive experience in tuning queries for optimal performance

Able to work independently with minimal direction.

Ability to work directly with business users to translate business requests/requirements into appropriate designs.

Possesses excellent communication skills.

Ability to investigate and identify query performance related issues.
