We have an exciting role open for a Senior Finance Manager supporting Global Marketing & Brand. In this role, you will be an essential partner and financial advisor to the Vice President of Marketing & Brand within Cat Digital. You and your team will support a team of more than 300 Marketing & Brand professionals with responsibilities ranging from our Experiential Marketing (three global Dealer Learning Centers & Equipment Training Solutions, Global Tradeshows & Events) Global Brand Investment, (Brand Campaigns, Trademark Licensing Revenue, & Sponsorships), Customer Experience (Cat Vantage +), Digital Marketing, Ironworks, Design, and Marketing Effectiveness, Analytics, and Insights.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsibility for forecasting Marketing & Brand activities as well as analysis and presentation of actual results.

  • Responsibility for analysis of a Marketing Projects targeting aftermarket growth.

  • Support the digital strategy of both M&B and Cat Digital by deploying advance analytics tools across our teams.

  • Support service center and accountable reporting.

  • Support annual Brand Investment and Capital requests.

  • Lead and maintain proper internal controls for M&B organization.

  • Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures providing guidance to others in the business.

  • Adopt standardize reporting with a focus on lean transformation.

  • Enhance talent and organizational development creating a stronger team.

What You Have:

  • Business Acumen : Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Organizational Governance: Knowledge of the processes, customs, policies, and rules affecting the way the organization is administered and controlled; ability to ensure compliance with governance guidelines and policies.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline

  • Progressive Accounting or Finance experience, including cost accounting and budget development

  • CPA, CMA, or CFA

  • The location for this position is in Peoria or Chicago IL

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
