Position Summary:

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for creating new, intuitive and engaging web experiences, as well as improving and redesigning existing interactions on SiriusXM's marketing and self-care websites. The ideal candidate must understand user-centered design methods, will be self-directed and have strong problem solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively and collaborate within a fast-paced work environment. The Senior UX Designer will work regularly with the UX director, as well as other UX designers, graphic designers, web developers, marketing managers, product owners, analysts and be responsible for wire framing, rapid prototyping, and visual design. The Senior UX Designer will also assist members of the interactive team in a variety of functions including design projects, A/B testing, user testing, user research, web publishing in the content management system, and development and production tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design engaging, responsive website experiences using the latest design and front-end web technologies.

  • Work closely with our design and user experience teams to efficiently design site pages and transactional flows, translating complex business requirements into annotated wireframes, clickable prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, task/workflow diagrams, sitemaps and other design artifacts.

  • Launch and analyze user tests to aid in validating design decisions, inform design strategy and ensure experiences meet business and user needs.

  • Utilize A/B testing and site user data to validate designs.

  • Succeed in an Agile work environment, including iterating quickly while maintaining a holistic view of the overall user experience.

  • Collaborate with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives.

  • Provide support to other team members as needed (QA, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience in a design field.

  • 5-10 years of experience within digital marketing or related design industry.

  • A strong online portfolio demonstrating UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) as well as visual design work is required.

  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools including Sketch, InVision and Axure.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Ability to create low-fidelity wireframes, task/workflow diagrams, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity visual design mockups.

  • Experience with responsively-designed websites, preferably using the Bootstrap framework.

  • Demonstrated experience writing clean, valid HTML and CSS code and other front-end development skills (preferred).

  • Experience working with a large-scale content management system.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Adobe graphic design suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Proficiency with Sketch, InVision, Axure or similar wireframing/prototyping tools.

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • HTML, CSS and JS skills desired.
