New York University Postdoctoral Associates (Wang Lab) in New York, New York

Dr Wang seeks postdoctoral associates with a PhD degree who will carry out research in computational neuroscience. Theoretical work involves either training recurrent neural networks to perform cognitive tasks or connectome-based modeling of a multiregional brain.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500- $62,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Ph.D in computational neuroscience or related field.

Prospective candidates are expected to be strong in quantitative skills, knowledgeable in neurobiology, dedicated to research and committed to close interactions with collaborative experimentalists.
