Description We are offering a role for a Software Engineer in the Financial Services industry, located in LYNBROOK, New York. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications. The role demands the use of a variety of skills including Apache Struts, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, and CSS.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software applications in line with the established requirements and design.

• Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve functionality and performance.

• Use Apache Struts and C++ for software development and maintenance tasks.

• Implement EO/IR systems as part of the software solutions.

• Utilize Hibernate ORM for mapping an object-oriented domain model to a relational database.

• Conduct AB Testing to compare two versions of a webpage or other user experience to determine which one performs better.

• Use Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications.

• Develop APIs to allow third-party software solutions to interact with our services.

• Use ASP.NET for developing web applications.

• Apply CSS for the presentation of the web applications. Requirements • A strong understanding of Apache Struts is necessary for this role

• Proficiency in C++ is required

• Experience working with databases is crucial

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems is beneficial

• Familiarity with Hibernate ORM is desired

• Experience in AB Testing will be advantageous

• Competency in Ajax is needed

• Expertise in API Development is essential

• Proficiency in ASP.NET is required
