About this Role
As our Technical Program Manager, you'll be an essential part of our product management and engineering team, reporting directly to the VP of Product Management & Programs. Your initial focus will be on ensuring our readiness for a crucial client deliverable set for the latter half of 2024, alongside spearheading our product's commercialization journey. Your expertise will guide the execution of strategic objectives and key results driving the development of our innovative hardware product from concept to market.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Efficient Project Execution: Manage resources adeptly, overseeing personnel, logistics, test site coordination, and client engagements to ensure project milestones are met with efficiency.
  • Drive Program Management: Take charge from project initiation to product delivery, aligning engineering efforts with schedule and quality requirements, and embedding continuous improvement into our processes.
  • Develop Internal Processes: Implement project management workflows and information architectures to streamline project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Conduct regular engineering meetings to track project progress, gather insights, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate Progress: Generate insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting project achievements and aligning team efforts with company objectives.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Engineering, Accounting, and Product teams to define project scopes and align resources, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with clients and internal management to align project objectives, enhancing relevance and satisfaction.

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience, delivering tools and equipment for use in the Construction and Energy markets.
  • 7+ years experience & proven track record in leading hardware engineering teams to deliver on product roadmaps.
  • Deep understanding of the project management lifecycle, PMBOK principles, and 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical hardware development.
  • PMP certification required or otherwise equivalent accreditations.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating product commercialization schedules.
  • 3+ years of technical hardware development experience is eagerly welcomed.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experienced with MS Office tools.
