Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic is seeking an innovative, patient-focused Medical Director to lead the Integrative Medicine and Health (IMH) practice in Jacksonville, FL .

The Medical Director will oversee a growing staff of integrative medical providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills to support Practice, Education, and Research. A proven track record of successful leadership is a must, as is the ability to manage and expand a diverse clinical and academic practice. Collaborative work across the institution is expected. This position will reside in the Division of General Internal Medicine and be part of Division’s Executive Committee representing IMH.

Qualifications

Candidates can be MD, DO, and/or PhD. Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Candidates should have an established research and clinical publication record.

Advanced Fellowship training in Integrative Medicine and/or board certification from the American Board of Integrative Medicine is preferred, and preference will be given to those candidates with at least three (3) years of Integrative Medicine experience and demonstrated progressive leadership skills.
