About the Role:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead a small team of Texas Maintenance staff and report into our Plant Manager. We will rely on you to manage and coordinate our contractors and outside vendors for general maintenance support of the facility/related equipment. The successful candidate will be eager to be hands on with necessapreventative maintenance and repair of all types of specialized equipment in the plant.

The position has been posted in several locations for marketing purposes but just one role is available. This position is a fully on-site position in Nederland, TX working 1st shift hours Monday through Friday with some overtime and weekends as business needs require.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in corrective and preventative action practices as it relates to product quality, plant safety, environmental and DOT compliance

  • Manage strategic operations projects - coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors

  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the budget, and ensuring resource availability and allocation

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/contractors

  • Create and maintain proper project documentation including detailed project plans with deadlines, outlining a budget, tracking, and delivering on that budget

  • Develop and manage the capital expenditure (CAPEX) plan

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a maintenance program

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; environmental management systems; quality management systems; hazardous waste operations and response; hazardous material transportation regulations; additional management level training

  • 2 - 5 years of Industrial Facility Management/Supervisory Experience required

  • Working knowledge of valves, pneumatics, boilers, RO systems, pumps, and plant operations required; prior experience in Chemical Manufacturing ideal

  • Demonstrated successful project management experience required

  • ISO 9000/2000; ISO 14000; HAZWOPER; 29 CFR OSHA; 49 CFR DOT a plus

  • Willingness to be on call for unexpected plant issues and work during shutdown hours on repairs and upgrades as business needs require

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
