The Director, Emerging Data Technologies will have global responsibility focusing on Privacy Enhancing Technologies, data clean rooms, data marketplaces, and data vendor evaluations and partnerships.Role- Develop PET strategy. Develop and implement a strategy for using privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) and clean rooms supporting products and services at Mastercard. Ensure that privacy is enhanced in the usage of these capabilities enabling secure and controlled environments for data collaboration between internal teams and external partners. - Strategy Alignment. Partner with internal stakeholders to align data strategy to business strategy to utilizing best practices to drive the development of new products and services that consume that data, as well as leading initiatives with product owners to enhance existing products. - Thought Leader. Partner with internal stakeholders to define the vision for PETs and Data Sourcing at Mastercard, based on in depth analysis of vendors and technology capabilities. Serve as a corporate subject matter expert support the organization's product development efforts that leverage those capabilities. - Resource management. Managing a matrixed set of dedicated resources, lead the analysis, vendor selection and contracting for various PET and Data Sourcing projects leveraging an array of technologies and vendors.- Execute Proof of Concepts. Provide leadership to proof of concepts projects piloting capabilities in various markets, ensuring business objectives are defined, risks and issues managed, and business outcomes are delivered.- Implementation. Work with data platforms and technology teams to implement PET and Data Sourcing technology platforms. Ensure that supported technologies and platforms are seamlessly integrated with one another as well as with various products and services.- Operational Efficiencies. Supervise and improve the operational processes associated with the construction and maintenance of these assets. Develop educational material and train, as needed, on these tools and processes. Disseminate and educate others on same.
