The primary responsibility of the Lead Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. In addition, the Lead Server will supervise, train, schedule, and motivate the serving associates.

Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure that the atmosphere of the dining room is pleasant and enjoyable, dining services are timely, and the Servers are attentive to the needs of the residents.

• Set and manage the schedules for the Servers.

• Supervise and assist the Servers in maintaining a clean dining room, chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas.

• Have a good knowledge of the presentation of food being served and train the Servers in this area.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

• Must have state specific Food Manager Certification or be able to certify within 30 days of hire.

• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.

• The Community is a drug free workplace.

  Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of related experience preferred.

• Some software and computer skills is a plus.
