CACI has an exciting opportunity for intelligence analysts with expertise in combat forensics to provide assessments on military capabilities and foreign ground forces required by warfighting commanders, the force modernization and research and development communities, DoD, and National policymakers.

Our team supports the DoD’s in sorting data and performing in-depth studies of selected combat incidents from military conflicts to assess post-strike terminal ballistic effects in order to determine the weapon type(s) used, the effects to the target, and whether the resulting damage and/or casualties are an expected outcome.

Join our Team in developing analytic assessments and performing technology analysis on the development of foreign weapon technologies, combat environments, tactics, policies, priorities, culture, and decisions to develop comprehensive assessments of intentions and capabilities, limitations, and/or vulnerabilities of military systems and technologies.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

  • Research and write technical reports on forensic experiments related to the recent military conflicts in order to provide foundational intelligence via comparative analysis.

  • Develop all-source analysis written products, presentations, and database entries. Present findings to customers.

  • Perform in-depth studies of selected combat incidents from military conflicts to assess post-strike terminal ballistic effects

  • Use established principles of Attack Scene Investigation and Battlefield Vehicle Forensics (BVF) to research, report, and catalogue these combat incidents.

  • Apply community resources and tools to do post-blast crater analysis, surface/above-surface explosion analysis, and the forensic analysis.

  • Determine technical omissions, discrepancies, and reliability of all-source material by applying known technical constraints on equipment operation or technology application, and extrapolating from established data on foreign equipment characteristics, foreign research and development (R&D) and production capabilities.

  • Conduct analysis of current and future system capabilities, limitations, and/or vulnerabilities resulting in the production of comprehensive all-source assessments, engineering analysis reports of assessed technical capabilities, and populate and maintain databases on conventional weapons and systems.

  • Demonstrate capability in conveying technical information in both written and oral forms and have experience in unmanned aerial systems.

  • Perform analysis of data, identify trends, and draw draft analytic conclusions from the raw and processed data focused on dismounted events.

  • Use our All-Source Comprehensive Research/Analysis and Production Processes to Conduct All-Source Comprehensive, Worldwide Research on S&T Topics.

  • Implement analytic design methodology and adhere to DoD and IC standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active in scope DoD TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Experience in applying knowledge of the principles, concepts, and techniques of all-source analysis to produce targeted S&TI products.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
