Who are we looking for?

We're looking for ambitious and creative engineers. Ideally you should have experience in both programming and testing. You will be part of the Tax Brno team. As an Engineer, your work will never be boring or mundane. There are no limits to what you can do in this role.Does the customer need help with an issue? You can do it.Is there a much needed feature that requires code analysis and coding skills? You can do it.Does the code need reformatting? Is an automated test missing? You can do it.

What are we doing?

We are developers of core tax API and tax engine applications for the NetSuite ERP.We cover taxes worldwide.The team works with a high degree of responsibility, coupled with a high degree of freedom of how to get the job done.We work on the whole application stack, from DB to front end. Our main language is Java with elements of SQL and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Activities

  • Responsibility for code quality.

  • Participation on development of shared test automation frameworks.

  • Preparation of test plans and test automation implementation.

  • Analysis of issues reported by customers.

  • Active participation in the release process.

  • Investigation and bug fixing.

  • Developing new features.

Qualifications/skills:

  • B.S or Master’s degree (or relevant experience in the industry).

  • Experience with OOP (Java, C# or other).

  • Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Interest in software testing.

  • Experience with test automation and/or unit testing.

  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to understand functional requirements.

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English are required

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
