Role Overview:

Micron seeks a globally minded and highly experienced leader to fill the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition role and lead the North America region, including EMEA and Mexico. This role will partner and scale the Talent Acquisition vision, mission, strategies, and priorities to meet the business operating plan and workforce for the future.

As we head into the next phase of Micron’s expansion and growth in the region, you will be responsible for enhancing a global, best-in-class brand to attract top, diverse talent and develop long-term goals and an operating model and process. This role will lead the talent acquisition strategy across the region and will work to ensure that talent acquisition policies and initiatives are integrated and aligned to support Micron’s strategic People and talent strategy.

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to support Micron’s business priorities. This role will collaborate with corporate communications, DEI, and various stakeholders to create compelling campaigns and narratives showcasing our people’s promise and career opportunities. The Sr. Director, Talent Aquisition is a passionate and innovative thought leader who will be responsible building strong relationships with business leaders, executing to hiring plans inspiring and motivating teams to deliver on our commitments to develop best-in-class hiring processes that enable the organization to acquire top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and innovate talent engagement strategies to ensure high-impact talent acquisition initiatives are successful across North America, Mexico, EMEA

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of talent acquisition leaders, senior/recruiters, and sourcers to deliver business talent needs and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

  • Lead the regional university and diversity recruiting of Interns and new college graduate programs with best-in-class experience and meet business needs for start-up and ramp-up.

  • Collaborate and provide input on the development of talent brand strategy aligned with business goals and attracting topdiverse talent.leveragingsocial listening for continuous improvement and engagement.

  • Partner closely with executives, organization leaders, and people business partners to align talent development with business goals.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and capability in talent recruiting analytics and metrics and executive reporting. Familiarity with talent acquisition systems, processes, tools, and Data governance

  • Lead a high-performance team with differentiated agility, innovation, and elevated skills capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years leading global talent acquisition organizations at a senior level

  • Effective leadership and management of a high performing team, setting direction and strategies, managing individual and team performance, ensuring employee development, and driving deep employee engagement.

  • Extensive experiencewith implementing talent acquisition systems including design, implementation, and ongoing process improvements.

  • Ability to translate business priorities into actionable people strategies and development programs.

  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional projects and large-scale change initiatives requiring a high degree of strategic thinking, collaboration, detailed execution, and influence.

  • Knowledge of applying and leveraging data and analytics to contribute to a holistic talent strategy and large-scale transformation.

  • Intellectual curiosity, passion to learn and actively study the latest research and trends in behavioral science and organizational performance.

  • Strong facilitator of programs and development discussions

  • Exceptional business acumen and ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders and external partners.

  • Demonstrated continual learning through on-going education or self-directed learning is expected.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience)

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$178,000.00 - $334,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
