We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Program Management - Life Sciences to lead product development projects from initiation to completion. This is a great role for an experienced people leader who is well-organized, collaborative, and passionate about driving results in Donaldson's most critical strategic growth area. This position will work a hybrid schedule out of our Bloomington, MN office. Role Responsibilities: People leadership: Hire, develop, drive engagement, and lead a high-performing global team. Oversee workload capacity to ensure that we have a forward-looking organization plan that is positioned to scale with growth (organic & acquisition) Product development & release process ownership: Drive development of optimized product release process. Drive compliance to process expectations across the organization, and optimize process for rapid, efficient, and quality product development and release. Project portfolio Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management and communication: Develop and manage the tools, systems, and processes to give transparency in the status of the portfolio of projects being managed by the department. Manage a team responsible for: Leading multiple complex projects concurrently, providing leadership for cross functional global project teams. Heavy emphasis on technical product development. Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and coordination of projects from ideation through commercialization/release to production. Communicate project status and progress to management, including senior leadership, and key stakeholders. Provide leadership and expertise to the larger organization on project management best practices, including RACI matrix, probability/impact risk logs and mitigation strategies, scheduling tools, and overall process compliance. Build relationships with key stakeholders, team members, and vendors to enable successful outcomes. TRAVEL: Up to 10% Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably a technical degree in Engineering or related field 6+ years of project management experience 4+ years of people leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluent with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools PMP, or other program management certification Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels Demonstrated experience in developing, optimizing, and administrating formal engineering change processes and product development/release processes Experience managing innovation projects Manufacturing company experience, with a strong preference toward direct life science background (biopharma, food & beverage bioprocessing, medical device, automotive vehicle electrification) Key Words: Manager, Project Management, PMP, PMI, Life Sciences Project/Program Management, biopharmaceutical, vehicle electrification, bioprocessing #LI-Hybrid Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
