Job Description: The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities related to the traffic process, such as pre-notification of inbound material, input of receiving from outside vendors and maintaining an overview of the flow of trucks in and out of the facility. The Coordinator records shipment data, ensures that schedules for all trucking requirements needed to fulfill internal and external customer requirements to provide on-time delivery are followed, completes traffic reports and helps ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner. This position is responsible for implementing the dispatch schedule and coordination of fleet of trucks for delivery and receiving material.
