1 Posted Date 2 hours ago(5/6/2024 4:31 PM) Overview Broad responsibility and leadership for a division customer-focused business team that includes Program Management, Contracts, Business Development and Sales, and Aftermarket. Responsibilities include business financial performance (e.g., profit and loss, asset management), strategic planning, forecasting, and performance of division programs. Serves as primary customer contact on program and contract performance. Consults with current and prospective customers and develops strategic objectives for new or projected products and markets. Provides leadership to other senior leadership team and professional staff. SCOPE/SUPERVISION AND INTERACTION: X Has Direct Reports __ Does Not Have Direct Reports Functional area: Business unit leadership of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional team relative to customer engagements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities I. Complexity Responsible for division business team performance. Interprets the technical and product deliverables based on customers and develops strategies to meet those needs. Investigates and identifies applications or improvements to products or new market segments and develops strategies to expand and accelerate profitable business growth. Customer products and/or systems needs are generally technically complex (e.g., landing gear, wheels, and brake systems). Develops, oversees, and directs activities across multiple functions (e.g., engineering, program management, contracts, assembly and test, quality, planning, etc.) to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled. Works closely with internal support teams (e.g., Supply Chain and Operations) to meet overall team and division objectives. The role oversees all contract management functions including contract drafting, negotiations of terms and conditions and pricing whereby profits are optimized, NDA's and other legal/contractual documents, and risk is mitigated and accounted for via financial planning. The role is responsible for assuring Demand expectations are achieved as part of the SIOP process. II. Impact Highly visible position with primary responsibility for revenue and earnings, sales orders, and bookings, 5- and 10-year strategic planning outlook and continuity of contractual relationships. Responsible for cost and schedule reporting, work package construction, budget allocation and control for the entire business. Assesses present and future needs, trends, problems, and profit opportunities for the division and develops short- and long-range forecasts and strategic plans. Responsible for applicable proposal development and new and/or mature business negotiations. Qualifications Education: Ten + years of major professional accomplishments and seven or more years leadership of program and contract management, business development and sales, as well as proposal management and pricing. Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results and business objectives. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: Knowledge of the aforementioned roles and responsibilities that would typically be obtained through a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline and progressive career experience. An M.B.A. (or master's degree) is preferred. Demonstrated customer experience via program management reviews (PMR's), life cycle contract management (both follow-on and new), proficiency in product and manufacturing technology and systems integration, an
