Description:

  • Dispense, control and monitor medications and biologicals used in the facility

  • Changes should be evaluated and discussed with the Director of Pharmacy Services and local Pharmacy Manager

  • This position is needed to cover one weekend per month on Saturday and Sunday from 7am-12pm, for a total of 10 guaranteed hours per months. As needed coverage during Monday-Friday will also be available, but not guaranteed.

  • Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm; Saturday - Sunday 7:00am - 12:00pm

Position Requirements :

A: Licensure/Certification/Registration : Must have completed all Georgia Licensure requirements and maintain a current Georgia Pharmacy License.

B. Education: A Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

C: Experience: Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy or long-term care experience is desired.
