Responsibilities Provides daily direction, oversight and technical expertise for the development and execution of initiatives for Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs as well as the associated management and resource support functions. Manages functions and operations of activities. Plans and coordinates details of events to include determining specifications and quantities of goods to order, manpower, space, facilities, food, and services. Oversees the development, coordination, implementation and reporting of management and operational metrics with linkage to above program objectives. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Standard Qualifications: Demonstrated work experience in the following areas: Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems. Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results. Working in various Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs demonstrating increasingly responsible work experience across multiple program areas. Understanding of Army's Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) and community, family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels. Prior supervisory experience. Highly Preferred: Do you have at least three (3) years' experience managing DoD MWR food & beverage programs? Do you have one (1) year of supervisory experience in government service? Do you have one (1) year of supervisory experience managing Non-Appropriated fund employees? PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differential This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
